I’ve just recorded a brand-new piano track and I’m super excited to share it with you! It’s been deliverd to streamingplatforms and will go live on the 29th of December. Drop your email here to get a heads up when it’s ready, or follow my Spotifypage!
Hello! I’m a Netherlands-based pianist and composer with a deep appreciation for jazz and classical music. After graduating from conservatory, I embraced every musical opportunity that came my way. I spent years playing countless gigs, backing jazz singers, composing for string quartets and big bands, teaching piano, and producing music for online content.
A few years before the global pandemic, I decided to switch gears and pursue a professional career in a different field. Music, once the core of my existence, became a cherished hobby. The demands of my new career and the arrival of my two wonderful children shifted my focus away from the piano.
That focus has now returned to the piano. I’ve reopened this creative outlet and am diving back into the world of music. Join me as I explore new compositions, record during the quiet moments, and share the stories behind them in my musical journal.
Write the music that I feel like creating, and make more of it! Right now I’m focussing on neoclassical music, if you must put a label on it. In my music, I take an academic approach, challenging myself to always incorporate something musically interesting—but I never lose sight of the bigger picture. It’s music that’s meant to be felt as much as understood. Sometimes the result leans more towards classical music, sometimes more towards jazz.
Join me on my music creating journey, as I capture and share it in my musical log.
Follow my journey exploring neoclassical music, capturing studies and experiments with insights into the technical and emotional aspects.
Immerse yourself in my music by listening directly on Spotify, or support my work by purchasing sheet music to play the pieces yourself.
